Apply a thin layer of honey to a dry wound dressing large enough to cover the wound. Change dressing up to 3 times daily. If there are abscesses, cavities and depressions, fill them with the active Manuka or Jellybush honey so that it is in contact with the surface of the wound.
Active Jellybush rarely causes allergic reaction, however some people, especially those who have known allergic reactions to bee stings or other hive products (such as propolis) should avoid Active Jellybush Honey.
