Ingredients
  1. 3 Tablespoons Honey House Kuranda honey
  2. 125 g unsalted butter - softened
  3. 1 cup plain flour
  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  5. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  6. 1 cup shelled pecans, chopped quite fine
  7. 3/4 cup icing sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 150 degrees celcius
  2. Grease two baking sheets
  3. Cream butter
  4. Beat in honey
  5. Gradually mix in flour and salt, then vanilla
  6. Add pecans
  7. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour
  8. Form balls by hand
  9. Place 5cm apart on the baking sheets
  10. Bake for 35 - 40 minutes
  11. Remove from oven
  12. When cool to touch, roll in icing sugar
  13. Cool completely and roll again in icing sugar

  1. Honey House suggest a light, toffee sweet honey for this recipe
